교수소개

박선현 교수의 주요 연구 분야는 최고 경영진과 기업 이사회의 전략적 의사결정 과정, 성장전략, 기업의 다양성과 혁신성과 등이다. 관련연구는 Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal 등에 게재되었다. 최근에는 사회 연결망 분석에 기반한 조직변화, 그룹의 인지 다양성 증대 및 기업혁신을 연구하고 있다. 학부와 대학원에서 경영전략, 경영전략 연구 방법론, 경영전략에 대한 사회학적 접근, 환경변화와 전략혁신 등을 강의한다. University of Michigan에서 경영전략 박사학위를 받았으며, University of Southern California (USC)의 전략 및 조직이론 분야 조교수로 재직하였다. 전미경영학회 조직이론 분과의 아시아 지역대표, Administrative Science Quarterly 편집위원 (ERB) 와 Strategic Management Journal의 부편집장 (Associate Editor), International Corporate Governance Society의 집행이사 등으로 활동하였다.

Sun Hyun Park is Professor of Strategy and International Management at the College of Business, Seoul National University. He received his Ph.D. in Corporate Strategy from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. Prior to joining SNU, he served as Assistant Professor of Management and Organization at Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.

Professor Park’s research focuses on how corporate managers cope with a firm’s external environment, which includes technological, institutional, and competitive dynamics. His research has been published in the leading journals of the field - Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. He teaches topics in corporate strategy, corporate governance, and research methods both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Professor Park is a recipient of the Academy of Management Best Paper Award (OMT, 2010) and the Strategy Research Foundation Dissertation Scholar award (2011) from the Strategic Management Society. He also served as a global representative for the Organization and Management Theory division of the Academy of Management (2017-2019), the Editorial Review Board of Administrative Science Quarterly (2022-2024), and the International Corporate Governance Society. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for Strategic Management Journal.
