Dear colleague,
Greetings from The University of Hong Kong Business School (HKU Business School)! Hope you are well and healthy during the pandemic time.
Thanks to our ongoing exchange partnership, students from different universities have the chance to broaden their horizons and enrich their learning experience. I write to let you know of another opportunity to learn about the Greater Bay Area of China and its business and innovation environment which will be of interest to your students.
Our School is collaborating with companies and industry experts from the industries of innovative technology, social media, retail, finance, cultural and event, professional service, property development, and so on. We will host the “Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in China” (CIEC) summer programme online from August 1 to 9, 2022 for overseas students who would like to acquire an in-depth understanding on the latest development and trend of business, economy, finance, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area of China. The programme has started since 2019 and received great response from participating students and industry collaborators.
During the 9-day virtual programme, participants will enroll in a summer course of 6 HKU credits. Aside from lectures and guest talks on economic development, finance innovation and entrepreneurship, students will join company visits, interactive in-class discussions and cultural activities virtually. The details of the programme are as follows:

| Eligibility: | · Passionate about developing a deeper understanding of China and the Greater Bay Area in particular · University students of any disciplines · Proficient in English Language · Chinese Language is not necessary * * Some of the sessions will be conducted in Mandarin and interpreting will be arranged whenever necessary. · Prior study in economics or business is not necessary |

We target to recruit students with diverse academic and cultural backgrounds from all over the world. The whole virtual programme will be conducted in English, thus, knowledge of Chinese language is NOT necessary. Also, prior study in business or economics is NOT necessary for participating students.
We would appreciate it very much if you could circulate this information to your students who are interested in joining this virtual programme in summer 2022.
