가. 지원자격 (동시충족)

- 본교 대학원 학위과정 신입생(2022학년도 2학기 입학예정자)중 실크로드 지역 국가 출신 학생

※ 실크로드 지역: 동남아시아, 서아시아, 중앙아시아, 중동, 아프리카·동유럽(붙임자료 참조)

- 한국어, 역사, 정치, 경제 등 인문사회과학 분야 전공자

나. 지원내역

- 등록금 전액 면제

- 생활비 월 60만원 지급

- 왕복 항공료 실비 지원

- 언어교육원 한국어교육 저녁반 수업료 지원

다. 지원기간: 정규학기 이내 최대 4개 학기

Silk-Road Scholarship for Fall 2022
We are pleased to announce the call for Silk-Road Scholarship Fall 2022. Please see details of the scholarship below and apply within the designated period.

1. Silk-Road Scholarship
 The Silk-Road Scholarship Program is jointly funded by the SBS Foundation and Seoul National University, established in Fall 2009. This program is designed specifically for students wishing to study humanities and social sciences. Students from countries located in the area of the Silk-Road may apply.
We believe that educating and training scholars in humanities social sciences related to Korea is crucial to expand he international base of Korean studies, and also essential to strengthen the global competitiveness of Korean education and research. To this end, this program intends to promote, support, and contribute to:

 Expansion of the field of humanities as a fundamental area of study which was under-funded due to the development of technology field  Supporting education and research for international students

2. Eligible Applicants (must meet all the below requirements)
- Status: Graduate students who have admission to Seoul National University for 2022 Fall semester - Nationality: Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Yemen, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hungary, Russia - Major: Departments related with Humanities or Social Sciences (including Korean Language, History, Culture, Politics, and Economics)

3. Candidates to be selected: ○ persons

4. Scholarship Benefits - Full tuition waiver, Study Allowance (KRW 600,000 monthly) - A round-trip airfaire (Economy class only, based on GTR system) - Tuition waiver for the Korean Language Special Program, Evening Class at the SNU LEI

5. Scholarship Period (supported within the normative period): maximum 4 semesters

6.
