개인사물함과 관련하여 긴급하게 공지사항이 있어 알려드립니다.

결론부터 말씀드리자면 현재 학생회에서 관리하고 있는 개인사물함 관련 업무가 다음 주 수요일(4/17)을 기하여 행정실로 이관될 예정입니다.

개인사물함 업무는 본래 행정실에서 관장하였는데 서울대학 법인화와 관련하여 문제가 생겨 논의 끝에 작년(2012년)부터 학생회로 업무가 이관되었고 26대 학생회를 거쳐 27대 학생회에 이르러 이번 13년도 봄 학기의 개인사물함 업무(반납, 연장, 신규신청)가 마무리된 상태입니다. 그러나 개인사물함을 학생회가 관리함에 있어 상시근무자가 아닌 집행부원이 돌아가며 신청서 수집 및 열쇠관련 업무를 처리하면서 발생되는 문제와 인수인계 문제, 그리고 입금확인 및 보증금 반환과 같은 금전적인 문제를 처리하는 부분에 있어 여러 애로사항이 발견되어 이를 가지고 부학장님, 행정실과 함께 논의한 결과 다시 원래대로 개인사물함 업무를 학생회에서 행정실로 이관하자는 결론에 이르렀습니다.

그 동안 학생회에서 개인사물함을 관리하면서 학생들의 편의를 고려하고자 여러모로 노력했지만 그럼에도 불구하고 분명 미흡한 점이 많아서 불편을 겪었던 학생들도 분명 더러 있었을 것입니다. 이 글을 빌어 너그러이 양해해주시길 부탁드리겠습니다.

개인사물함은 돌아오는 가을학기부터는 무료로 학생들한테 개방될 예정이며 보증금과 이용료를 따로 납부하지 않는 것 외에 신청절차는 이전과 동일합니다. 다만 이미 1년을 신청하여 다음 학기까지 사용기간이 남은 학생들은 별도의 반납신청을 하지 않는 한 예정기간까지 이용하실 수 있으며 4~5월 중에 일괄적으로 보증금과 한 학기 사물함 이용료(2학기 이용예정자의 경우)가 반환될 예정이니 이 점 참고해주시기 바랍니다.

Notice on Passing over the Locker Management Job

Greetings!

This is the CBA Student Council.

We are putting up this notice as we have an important announcement to make regarding your individual lockers.

To jump into the conclusion first, the locker management job (currently our task) will be passed over to the CBA administration office from this Wednesday (April 17^th).

Originally the locker management job was taken care of by the administration office. But after having some issues with SNU’s privatization last year, the job was passed over the CBA student council. After the transfer, the 26^th and 27^th CBA student council has quite successfully executed the task. However we have discovered a few problems in the process. Firstly, we witnessed some issues as we couldn’t afford a single person to stay at the student council office the whole time and take care of the locker management task; we each had our time slots to work and so communication among the student council was crucial yet practically impossible. There was no way for us to share every information of what had happened for each time slots. Furthermore, there were some financial issues regarding locker fee and deposit payments. Eventually, we have discussed such problems with the vice-dean and the administration office and decided to give the locker management task back to its original owner.

We understand that, despite our try to make a more convenient environment for you, there might have been few of you who weren’t very pleased for our shortcoming with handling the lockers. We hope that you could accept our apologies through this announcement.

Individual lockers will be provided for free to students from this fall semester and there will be no change in registering process except that you won’t have to pay the rental and the deposit fee.

If you had signed up for a one-year locker rental already, you may use the locker until the original contract date expires (unless you decide to return the lockers before the date). Please note that your rental fee for the second semester and the deposit will be returned to you between April and May.
