다음과 같은 conference에 참가를 희망하고자 하시는 분은, 

우선 국제교류실 측에, 참가지원의사를 먼저 알려주시고, 추후 온라인으로 지원하시기 바랍니다.

Conference invitation from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

I am writing with regards to a conference jointly organised by students of the LSE, The "Asia Investment Banking Conference 2010�. Please find below a short summary of this initiative.

1. Following the success of last year�s conference (http://www.lsesmu-aibc.com/), this will be our second year in running. We aim to invite distinguished professionals from the M&A field to speak to students on various topics pertaining to the corporate finance industry. The objectives of the conference are:
� To provide the brightest talents learning and development, networking opportunities via interaction with the most accomplished finance professionals
� To create a dynamic learning environment for educating students about the corporate finance industry
� To promote the development of the financial services industry in Asia by providing a platform for senior professionals and students to discuss critical issues and industry trends
� To facilitate the exchange of corporate finance strategies employed in Asia by industry experts

2. The 2-day event is scheduled to take place on 8-9 July 2010 and will be held at the campus of the Singapore Management University in Singapore. The program will consist of keynote speeches, interactive workshops and discussion panels conducted by reputable senior speakers.

3. Last year�s keynote speeches were delivered by Glenn Schiffman (Head of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking Nomura), Stephen Gore (Head of Asia-Pacific M&A and Corporate Finance UBS), Rohit Sipahimalani (Managing Director of Investments, Temasek Holdings), Benjamin Jenkins (Senior Managing Director, The Blackstone Group) and Vinay Jayaram (Managing Director, Morgan Stanley). This year, we expect to invite more senior speakers from more firms. Other organisations that will be represented at the conference will include Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, The Carlyle Group, KKR, McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, Bain Capital, Linklaters, Clifford Chance and PwC. Approximately 50 senior speakers are expected to participate in this event, bringing about a diverse range of experiences. The conference will be covered by recognizable international media such as the FT, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNBC and FinanceAsia.

4. Student representatives from reputable universities such as LSE, Oxford, Cambridge, St Gallen, Wharton, Yale, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Australian National University, University of Melbourne, Hong Kong University, Indian Institute of Management, Keio University and Waseda University will also be invited.

5. We would like to invite your members/students, whom I believe would be very interested in Investment Banking in Asia, to participate in this conference.

Please note that they should not apply till next week as there will be a new website launching before the end of this week.
During the registration process, students are required to upload their own curriculum vitae (CV). We will read through each CV from all over the world and choose the most suitable 300 students out of all the applicants.

2. This conference is open to both undergraduates and master students (post-graduates)
