Your work environment

Within the Commercial Banking Korea activities, Sales Trainee is responsible for assisting Financial Markets (“FM”) sales team, sales in foreign exchange, option and rates products with Financial Institutions and corporate clients. 

 

 Job description

 

Purpose of your function:

 

As a Sales Trainee, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:

-       Market research to help identifying market trends & transaction for potential business

opportunities;

-       To execute flow trades based on the ‘FM sales practice manual’

ü  Use clear language when negotiating deals

ü  Understand all risks of the products before dealing

ü  Input deals into a system accurately and promptly

-       To maintain the market sense and obtain more business opportunities from existing customers, and penetrate new client base

-       To provide clients with market updates

ü  Daily report for brief updates and forecasts of FX, stock, bond markets

-       Understand market situation & offer structures able to satisfy clients’ needs.

-       Administrative works for FM Sales team

 

 Your profile

 

Knowledge and experience

       -    Ideally a university degree in business administration;

       -    Sound product knowledge of FM products;

       -    High level of self-motivation and result-oriented approach;

       -   Strong communication and interpersonal skills in working with/for local and global clients;

       -   Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written; and

       -   Display an eagerness to learn.
