Within the Commercial Banking activities, Asia Desk is responsible for quality and depth of client relationship and for managing overall financial performance and risk. Its clients are the European subsidiaries of ING clients in
Job description
Purpose of your function:
- You are responsible (under supervision of the Head of the Asia Desk) for maintaining & developing client relationships with large commercial banking clients.
- You will actively be looking to originate new profitable business and further indentify cross-selling opportunities within your client portfolio.
- You are acting as the ING key contact person for your clients and develop professional relationships up to CEO and CFO level in
- You originate deals within your portfolio, co-ordinate and supervise the (local) deal team and activate the product specialists.
Your key responsibilities are: Management of a portfolio of clients. Implement sector specific strategy for your client portfolio.
- You act as the ING relationship manager for the client up to CFO and CEO level in Europe.
- You are responsible for the credit quality for your portfolio.
- You are responsible for growing the overall revenues and EVA of your portfolio.
- You liaise closely with Sector Principal & interact with ING products colleagues.
- You develop international business with client’ subsidiaries.
- You act as or appoint deal captain on local level.
- You ensure quality of relevant client reporting.
- You ensure quality of credit process.
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- An academic degree and/or MBA in economics, law or comparable
- Minimum 3 years of diversified and proven relationship management or sales experience in wholesale financial services
- Good oral and written skills in English and Korean
