The Company:
ANDA is an independent Investment Advisor company registered with the Financial Services Commission of Korea and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Firm’s interests are closely aligned with clients with substantial investment from its partners. ANDA consists of a team of experienced and incentivized professionals; investment professionals have on average over 15 years of industry experience. As a firm based in Seoul, Korea, ANDA has an extensive network of relationships among top Korean companies and domestic brokerage houses; this provides a strong edge in carrying out research on local issuers.
Overall Goals:
Conduct professional qualitative/quantitative analysis to develop both long/short investment ideas in Asian market, with a particular focus on Korea.
Tasks:
Specific tasks will include (but will not be limited to):
· Conducting in-depth industry and company analysis with valuation modeling;
· Supporting the primary portfolio manager in his requests for data and data-driven analysis. The goal will be to capture insights not readily observable through traditional active management techniques (Training will be provided.); and
· Brainstorming and proof-of-concept creation for new quantitatively-driven investment approaches.
Skills and Experience Desired:
· Interest in the field of finance, particularly equity research;
· Intermediate proficiency in Excel;
· Financial industry experience (highly preferred but not required); and
· Quantitative analysis skills (highly preferred but not required)
