2012 Full-time Analyst/Associate Opportunity at PineBridge Investments

PineBridge Investments (formerly AIG Investments) is a global multi-product investment advisor with US$ 67 billion in assets under management and more than 800 professionals in 32 countries. PineBridge Investments comprises a group of international companies with extensive capabilities in listed equities, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity and real estate. Since 1998, PineBridge Investments has completed a total of 12 private equity investments in Korea of an aggregate US$ 1.5 billion, with HansolM.Com and Hanaro Telecom as our flagship transactions.

PineBridge Investments is planning to hire a full-time Analyst or Associate in the private equity division in the Seoul office. Analysts/Associates are expected to be active contributors during every phase of the deal process and are encouraged to handle a high level of responsibility. Title and compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience and capabilities.

Responsibilities:
-Analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities in Korea
-Performing valuation analysis and financial modeling
-Actively managing the transaction process with bankers, accountants, lawyers and consultants
-Monitoring and analyzing the operating and financial performance of portfolio companies
-Drafting of transaction-related documents, memos and presentations
-Industry, market and technical research

Qualifications:
-2-4 years of relevant finance experience required (private equity, investment banking, equity research, etc.) with an understanding of financial analysis, the M&A process and valuation techniques
-Superior modeling skills, with an ability to build dynamic valuation, M&A and comparables models
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on sound business judgment
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
-Demonstrate confidence, maturity and social acumen in communicating with senior executives
-Fluency in English and Korean
