A junior trader at ITG Arbitrage Limited ideally meets the following profile: ·         University degree, preferably in economics, econometrics, science,          mathematics, or statistics actuarial science ·         Experience with Excel  ·         Genuine interest in financial markets ·         Proficient English ·         Computer programming skills are a plus   Characteristics: ·         Outgoing, communicative and willing to work in dynamic environment ·         Competitive by nature and eager to win ·         Excellent quantitative and analytical skills ·         Quick and decisive thinker and able to deal well with pressure   Your initial responsibilities will include assisting traders to do the following: ·         Pricing and trading of equity, warrants and derivative products ·         Daily position management ·         Helping create automated trading models and tools ·         Developing new trading strategies and implementing new products   Description Junior traders are given a high level of responsibility quickly and join a team on our electronic trading floor after just 2-3 months of training.
