In short, this person who has the responsibility of working with our clients/customers, to understand their business imperative and technical requirements, and then to build out innovative and differentiated solutions and architecture that will help these organizations drive business outcomes.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
The Associate Consultant will closely work with our passionate and experts within VMware Professional Services Team to deliver creative solutions to our customers to help unlock the benefits of our VMware products.

In this role, you will use your technical, consultative, communication, and leadership skills to support the successful implementation of VMware software solutions (Cloud, Mobility, Network/Security, etc.) across industries and customer environments.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with the customers and other team members on a day-to-day basis with tasks involved solution delivery, including, but not limited to planning, customer assessments, system configuration, testing, training, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.

A typical day of a consultant will be:
- Engaging with customers, to gather requirements and information of customer’s infrastructure environment and technological roadmap.
- Conduct workshops with customers to finalize on decisions for the design of the virtual infrastructure
- Craft documents pertaining to infrastructure design, taking into consideration the overarching business intent and roadmap.
- Collaborate with internal team and VMware partners to ensure successful project delivery and ensure the solution proposed will solve customer’s problems.
- Implementation of the solution, whether on-field or remotely, with configurations according to the agreed design.
- Conduct testing to ensure the functionality and solution compatibility are well implemented.
- Conduct workshops to properly educate and update the customer of the solutions implemented in their environment.
- Support and collaborate with sales team, to drive conversations future projects.
- Attend courses and training to enhance and/or learn new skills, gain knowledge and hands-on experiences.

Associate Consultant는 VMware Professional Services 팀의 열정적인 전문가들과 함께 긴밀히 협력하여 고객에게 창의적인 솔루션을 제공함으로써 VMware 제품의 이점을 경험할 수 있도록 돕습니다.

또한 여러분의 기술, 컨설팅, 커뮤니케이션 및 리더십 역량을 활용하여 업계 전반 및 고객 환경에서 VMware 소프트웨어 솔루션(클라우드, 모빌리티, 네트워크/보안 등)의 성공적인 구현을 지원합니다.

여러분은 주로 기획, 고객 진단, 시스템 구성, 테스트, 교육, 트러블슈팅 및 기술 문제 해결을 비롯하여 솔루션 제공과 관련된작업을 고객과 직접 혹은 다른 팀원들과 함께 수행하게 됩니다.

Consultant의 주요 업무는 다음과 같습니다.
- 고객과 협력하여 고객의 인프라 환경 및 기술 로드맵에 대한 요구 사항 및 정보를 수집합니다.
- 고객과의 워크샵을 통해 가상 인프라 설계에 대한 의사 결정을 마무리합니다.
- 매우 중요한 비즈니스 계획와 로드맵을 고려하여 인프라 설계와 관련된 문서를 작성합니다.
- 내부 팀 및 VMware 파트너와 협력하여 프로젝트를 성공적으로 이행하고 제안된 솔루션이 고객의 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
- 합의된 설계에 따른 구성을 통해 현장 또는 원격에서 솔루션을 구현합니다.
- 기능과 솔루션 호환성이 잘 구현되었는지 확인하기 위한 테스트를 실시합니다.
- 고객의 환경에 구현된 솔루션을 적절히 교육하고 업데이트하기 위한 워크샵을 실시합니다.
- 향후 프로젝트에 대한 대화를 주도할 수 있도록 세일즈 팀을 지원하고 함께 협업합니다.
- 교육 과정에 참석하여 새로운 기술을 향상시키거나 학습하고, 지식과 실무 역량을 습득합니다.

[지원자격]

You potentially would have:
· Expected to graduate or recently graduated with a minimum of a BSc in Engineering, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering.
· The ability to think outside the box with creative thinking, to come up with innovative solutions and outcomes.
· You will need to be comfortable in communicating well, articulating and evangelizing.
· Passion on cloud computing technologies, application development, Kubernetes technologies and software tech.
· Hungry to learn.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
The role would be reporting into Oh Jongnam, Senior Manager of Professional Services team in Korea. He leads a big team, and work cohesively together to achieve results.
