[Hub Investment Management] 2018 Winter Internship
▪  Position: Research Assistant / Research Analyst
▪    Job description:
o  Perform detailed research analysis on investment companies and industries
o  Perform rigorous analysis of company financial statements, regulatory filings, and related
materials
o  Build and maintain financial models
o Provide research notes, news/earning updates, and summary of research/industry reports on timely
basis
o  Discuss findings and conduct valuation analysis with senior analysts and portfolio manager
o  Submit investment memo on designated companies
▪ Company: Hub Investment Management is an investment firm specialized in research and investment
on public equities primarily in China, Japan and Korea which operates in partnership with global
investment firm, Archegos Capital Management (formerly Tiger Asia Management). The team has
disciplined experts specialized in Asia market and employs a research-driven approach to
fundamental stock selection and while taking a multi-year approach to investing.
▪   Location: One IFC, Yeouido, Seoul, Korea
▪     Duration: 2-month program (January 2018 – February 2018)
▪ Qualification:
o Bachelor’s Degree or Candidate for Bachelor’s Degree in 2018 or 2019; MBA degree or CFA preferred
but not required
o Internship experience in Investment Banking, Research, Hedge Fund, Private Equity, or Financial
Services; other industries will also be considered
o  English language fluency required (spo ken and written)  o  Stro ng financial analytical skills
o Intellectually curious and passionate about investing / learning about com panies
▪     Preferred: Fluent in Mandarin or Japanese but not required
