Summary

The internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a professional environment, and to support/promote the graduate's career goals through contact with professionals in their field of study. The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Volvo by working on important and innovative projects. Internships are structured learning experiences where interns/coops and our full time professionals work together on projects within their selected organization. The internship allows students to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and Volvo.

Responsibilities / Main tasks / Targets

Responsibility may include, but are not limited to, the follow:

• Supporting marketing campaign for each product lines.
• Drafting external communications contents for ads, PR and social media, Direct Marketing etc. and monitor web analytics in weekly basis.
• Webpage administration for new mobile platform web launch such as updating contents with right links, creating subpages with right offer mix, etc.
• Assisting in preparation and execution of seminars & community event.
• Factory tour arrangement and guidance for foreign visitors.
• Assisting marketing director and managers in their day-to-day activities.

Essential Skills and Required Experience

For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Foreign passport holder (non-Korean)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of projects
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Korean a plus
• Social Media, digital marketing experience a plus

Minimum Education Requirements

• Applicants must be pursuing a Marketing/Communication/Business Bachelors or Master’s degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

Compensation & Benefit

• Internship allowance: 2.5MKRW/month
• Meals : lunch provided at company canteen
• Vacation: 1 paid leave/month
