Hosting of First 2022 Future Industry Forum

This year's first 2022 Future Industry Forum was held on June 8 at Supex Hall at Seoul National University. Co-hosted by the Seoul National University Entrepreneurship Center at the SNU College of Business and Maeil Business Newspaper and sponsored by the LG Business Research, this forum was held under the theme of "Digital Asset Transactions and the Future of Cryptocurrency."


The 2022 Future Industry Forum invites panels from the academia, industry, and government departments in charge of regulations to actively engage in discussions concerning major industries leading the fourth industrial age and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This forum will be the beginning of further discussions to gain a deeper understanding of the present and future of the innovative industry, centering on online platforms and artificial intelligence that will be held later this year. 


Kyungho Choo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, and Yung-Min Kim, the President of LG Business Research, gave congratulatory remarks on fostering future industries and recent trends of the fourth industrial revolution. This was followed by presentations by Professor Jongsub Lee at the SNU Business School (Digital Asset Markets: Past, Present, and Future), Youngjun Park, Director of Dunamu (Roles of Digital Asset Exchanges), Sangrok Oh, CEO of HYPERITHM (Changes in Currency and the Future of Digital Assets). 

In the panel discussion, Professor Han Sang Yi at the Korea University Business School convened a discussion with Chang-guk Ahn, Director of the Financial Services Commission, Junseon Eo, CEO of Coinplug, and Jaeyun Kim, CEO of Superblock.
