Successful Hosting of the 2026 EMBA Family Day
The Seoul National University Executive MBA (EMBA) program hosted a successful “2026 EMBA Family Day” on May 17 at the Seoul National University main field on a bright spring day.
Hosted to commemorate Family Month, the event brought together EMBA students and their families, offering a chance to bond and communicate across generations and cohorts. In particular, the event featured programs for the entire family, making it a meaningful occasion to reaffirm the warm bonds unique to the EMBA community.
The Family Day event commenced with congratulatory remarks from Professor Hongsuk Yang, Dean of the Business School, greetings from Seok-jin Yoon, the President of the Student Council, and an opening declaration by Joon-sung Lee, the Head of the External Cooperation Committee.
Programs that ran from morning through the afternoon were the highlights of this year’s event and were very well received. Participants across cohorts and their families were in fierce competition, cheering as they played recreational and mission games, including the OX quiz, random dice relay, super striker, and homerun hero. This was followed by a prize draw, a group photo session, and the distribution of souvenirs, marking the end of a successful event.
This year’s Family Day event was even more significant, as it went beyond a simple social gathering to become a meaningful occasion to share the EMBA culture with families and to strengthen the community’s bonds.
The Family Day event, which has now become an iconic annual event in the EMBA program, will continue to serve as a platform for communication and harmony among students, families, and alumni.
