2025 Business School Family Welcome Event for Incoming Undergraduate Students
The “2025 Business School Family Welcome Event for Incoming Undergraduate Students” was held on Saturday, June 14, at 10 am at the SUPEX Hall, Building No. 58. The event, attended by approximately 100 first-year undergraduate students and their families, commenced with opening remarks from Professor Joon Chae, Dean of the Business School, and Professor Byungjoon Yoo, Vice Dean of Student Affairs.
Dean Joon Chae’s “Introduction to the Business School’s Vision” and Vice Dean Byungjoon Yoo’s presentation of “Academic Plans” offered a meaningful opportunity to reflect together on the kind of education the Business School and our students should pursue.
The presentations were followed by special lectures from distinguished Business School Alumni, Hyung-sik Chang, CEO of H Music Entertainment (Class of ‘97), and In-seop Jung (Class of ‘89), Head of the Management Support Team and the CEO of Hanwha Ocean.
After the lectures, the session led by the deans, “Conversation with Professors (Q&A Session),” was followed by an introduction to “Campus Life for Seoul National University Students” by the 39th Business School Student Council [Saebyeok]. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and explore every detail of what it’s like to be a business school student. The main event wrapped up with a campus tour after lunch, giving students a chance to feel pride in being Business School students and allowing families to see their children’s academic environment firsthand, and create unforgettable memories.
