2025 SNU Business School Orientation Held for First-Year Undergraduate Students
The SNU Business School held the “2025 SNU Business School Orientation for First-Year Undergraduate Students” on Thursday, February 13.
Approximately 120 incoming first-year undergraduate students attended the event, which was organized to help them gain a better understanding of university life and foster a sense of belonging as members of the Business School.
The event commenced with a welcoming address from Dean Joon Chae, which was followed by programs to help students adjust to university life, such as sessions on human rights and gender equality for first-year students, psychological tests (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory), academic administration, and the Business School facilities.
The next session was a safety training aimed at preparing students not only to prevent accidents during the upcoming three-day “First-year Students Retreat” but also to prevent drug abuse and online sexual violence, such as Deepfake-related abuse.
This event concluded with a final information session led by the Student Council after lunch, offering the new students words of encouragement as they embark on their new journey.
