SNU Business School hosted the Orientation for International Exchange Students for the first semester of 2026 on February 24.

The event was hosted to help international students adjust to university life and foster a sense of belonging.

48 international exchange students from twenty countries joined the Business School this semester. Faculty members from SNU Business School, along with staff responsible for international exchange programs and the Business School Student Council “Cheongram,” attended the orientation to welcome the students.

During the orientation, students were introduced to the basic information for life at the university, including the academic system at the Business School, course registration processes, and library and student support services. Professor Sungho Park, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, offered encouragement in his welcoming speech, saying, “The Seoul National University Business School will actively support your academic growth, and current students are very interested in meeting exchange students, so I hope you will actively engage with one another and enjoy your time on campus.”

The leaders of the Student Council “Cheongram” introduced students to the Student Council, upcoming events planned by the council, translation services for exchange students, the varsity jacket, and the main communication platforms.

Finally, the event concluded with an icebreaker session to help students get to know one another. Students naturally bonded and gained a better understanding of university life through quiz games like the “Campus Info Quiz.”

International students attending the Business School Orientation expressed high hopes for the academic opportunities at Seoul National University. They also responded positively to the event, which boosted their confidence about life on a new campus. Another student mentioned feeling reassured after gaining a lot of information and making new friends during the event.

SNU Business School will continue to support exchange students in gaining broad academic and cultural experience and in enriching its educational environment with a global outlook.
