Jong-young Hwang, CEO of Dongyang Industrial System Pledges to Donate One Billion Won to SNU Business School Development Fund

Jong-young Hwang (78th class of AMP, 1st class of ELP), CEO of Dongyang Industrial System and DY-Solitech visited SNU, visited SNU Business School on January 9, and pledged to donate one billion won to the development fund.

After recognizing the importance of socially responsible management through the 78th class of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) and the 1st class of the Executive Leader Program (ELP) on ESG Management, CEO Jong-young Hwang decided to donate to the development fund to realize this.

70% of the pledged foundation fund will be used for the SNUbiz Entrepreneurship Fund to create an environment for budding entrepreneurs to launch businesses and grow. The remaining 30% of the donation will be provided as scholarships to realize the equality of educational opportunity and provide students with financial support for their education.

CEO Jong-young Hwang emphasized the importance of companies contributing to generating social value through this development fund and further commented that he will continue working with various societal stakeholders for sustainable development.

The SNUbiz Entrepreneurship fund continues its campaign to meet the goal of reaching 10 billion won, which will be presented to promising venture companies as seed money through deliberation by a review board consisting of internal and external experts.
