Thesis Submission Qualification Exam

1) Selection and Change of Thesis Academic Advisor Selection : Within 2 semesters after admission
Change : Within 1 semester after selection
2) Basic Qualifications Person who has enrolled in at least 2 semesters, and acquired 12 credits or more Person who has enrolled in at least 2 semesters, and acquired 12 credits or more Person who has enrolled in at least 5 semesters, and acquired 42 credits or more
3) Area of Evaluation English proficiency (TEPS, TOEFL), Comprehensive examination (Major courses)
4) Score Distribution and Requirements Minimum required score of TEPS 701, TOEFL CBT 247, IBT 99, Major courses 60 Minimum required score of TEPS 701, TOEFL CBT 247, IBT 99, Major courses 70 Minimum required score of TEPS 701, TOEFL CBT 247, IBT 99, Major courses 70
5) Application Period at the beginning of the semester(1st weekend of March or September)


- Foreign students should enter for a foreign language examination, TEPS, Test of Korean(executed by SNU),
1 second language test except mother language, or complete “Korean Language and Culture”
- In case of completing “Korean Language and Culture”, it is included in a course registration credit,
but cannot be included in a completion credit.
